4 Months!

Well, technically, she's almost 4.5 months, but we just had her 4 month appointment yesterday.  Here are the stats...

15lbs 6.8oz
24 inches

I don't know percentiles, because we are at a new pediatrician office and they don't provide those numbers.  Let's just say that Claire is curvy and I'd be willing to bet she is still somewhere in the 70's percentile (at least).

Claire continues to be a very happy baby...easy to smile and laugh.  She loves watching Avery do any and everything, being outside and standing & sitting up (with help, of course).  She still loves using her voice and can be heard screeching, talking and yelping for many hours a day.

In the past few weeks, Claire has become VERY aware of the people she knows...and those she does not.  It's very common for her adorable pouty face to show up and tears to flow when strangers hold her.  I remember Avery being the same way at this age...and it's just a phase we'll get through...pouts and all.

Just about peed her pants with excitement when we put her in the jumper for the first time.

Love this little lady to the moon and back.  She has made all of our lives that much sweeter, exciting... and cute!  What a pleasure she is.

Claire is a very happy, smiley and giggly baby.  I mean, she laughs when you talk to her like Jeff is in the video.  Who knew we were so funny?!  She's really boosting our self-confidence.  She also laughs at funny noises and when you jiggle her legs or arms (who wouldn't?).  She is such a ham and loves interaction!
